History

Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.

At Tabs I built the creator program and the paid ad engine beside it. The playbook for Dixxon is the same: a tight roster, a hook library, one variable per test, losers killed early. I have not run apparel, so the first weeks are for learning your category rules from your team.

Why now

  • 30,536

Reviews already on a Dixxon page

One page carries a count of 30,536 reviews. Creator video would add motion and fit to a base of buyers who already talk.

    Published
  • 4.9

    Rating on the crew socks

The 6pk Premium Core Crew Socks - Black shows 4.9 from 1,618 reviews. Basics reviewers can speak to fabric without inventing anything.

    Published
  • 13-Year

An anniversary series in the menu

The 13-Year Anniversary Series sits in the site navigation. It is a story creators can tell across a whole flannel season.

    Published
  • $50+

A free shipping line to quote

The site prints $50+ Free Shipping. A creator can say it on screen once the live terms are checked against the claims sheet.

Part 4 of 15

Principles

  1. One variable per test

Each batch changes one thing: the hook, the first shot or the price on screen. The Samhain Flannel at $59.99 and a $30.00 flannel are separate tests, never mixed.

  2. Losers killed early

A format that stays far from the $1 target for cost per 1,000 views gets cut after two rounds. Creators keep shooting what the data keeps.

  3. A hook library, not scripts

Every winning opening goes into a shared hook library. Creators shoot in their own words, wearing the real flannel, and never read a script.

  4. One number to protect

Cost per 1,000 views, target $1. Pay is capped at $15,000 a month for ten creators, bonuses excluded, so the spend cannot run past the result.

#briefs

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

Illustrative
  1. MarcusMon 8:30 AM

This week is The Samhain Flannel, men's and women's. Open on the fabric close-up, say the price on screen: $59.99. Seven videos each. The hook library is pinned.

  2. TessaMon 10:15 AM

Can I say the flannels are made in the USA? I only see that on the Barber T-Shirt page.

Good catch. Only the Barber T-Shirt carries Made in the USA. Leave origin out of the flannel videos until we confirm it.

  3. Roster BotAppTue 9:00 AM

Monday report is up. Best format: fit check on The Samhain Flannel. Cost per 1,000 views is still above the $1 target. The price-on-screen hook is the loser, so it is cut.

  4. MarcusWed 2:40 PM

Draft sent back. The Barber tee line says it runs big. The page says True to size. Reshoot that one line, keep the rest, and repost in #drafts.

  5. Roster BotAppFri 11:05 AM

One video passed 100,000 views, organic only. The $50 flat bonus is logged. One bonus per creator per month.

  6. MarcusFri 11:30 AM

Check before we queue it for paid: is the disclosure in the first line and the Dixxon tag visible? Reply yes and I will move it to the next step.

Yes to both. Disclosure is the first line and the tag is on the chest shot.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 15

Formats

  1. Fabric close-up

    Brief 01

    Fabric close-up

“Run your thumb across this flannel with me.”

Tight handheld shot of The Samhain Flannel weave in daylight, then pull back to show it on the body. One take.

  2. Fit check

    Brief 02

    Fit check

“Here is how The Samhain Flannel fits me, no filter.”

Mirror or tripod, full length, turn once, raise the arms once. Say your own height out loud; no fit claims beyond the page.

  3. Price on screen

    Brief 03

    Price on screen

“A real flannel for $30.00? Let me show you.”

Hold the State Forty Eight Flannel to camera, price as text on screen, then show the full cut. Check the live price before posting.

  4. Family matching

    Brief 04

    Family matching

“Dad's flannel, the kid's flannel, same weekend.”

Adult and Youth The Samhain Flannel side by side, one take, price for each on screen. Parent present for any minor.

  5. Women's first wear

    Brief 05

    Women's first wear

“Women's The Samhain Flannel, first wear, honest take.”

Unbox, try on, one cut to a walking shot outside. Say $59.99 out loud and name what you like and what you would change.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Quality Flannels Built to Last.”, “Made in the USA”, “True to size”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 15

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Buyers who already post

Customers tagging Dixxon on Instagram and Facebook, the two social links on the site. Start with the ones already wearing flannels.

  • Trade and workwear communities

Barbers, welders and tradespeople. The Barber T-Shirt and the Work Hard Badge line speak to their day directly.

  • Fall and style creators

Flannel season, thrift and outfit creators with a small but active audience. Read the comments before the follower count.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

I did not find an affiliate or ambassador page on the site. The roster starts from direct outreach, not an existing program.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Audience fit

The audience already wears flannels, workwear or band merch.

  2. 2Real comments

Recent posts carry real comments from real accounts, not bots.

  3. 3Clean first test

Good light and clear sound in one unpaid test video.

  4. 4Claims quiz

Passes a short check on the claims sheet before shooting.

  5. 5Disclosure habit

Puts the partnership disclosure in the first line, every time.

Part 7 of 15

Who

  • Barber or stylist

Films the chair all day; the graphic is a nod to that trade.

Likely product: Barber T-Shirt - Black

  • Fall outfit creator

Builds layered looks and shows how the flannel works through the season.

    Likely product: The Samhain Flannel

  • Parent of a flannel kid

Dresses the family and shoots adult and Youth sizes together.

Likely product: Youth The Samhain Flannel

  • Party shirt host

Weekend and going-out content, loud prints, easy humor.

    Likely product: Unhinged Party Shirt

  • Women's fit reviewer

Gives a straight read on the women's cut and the fabric.

Likely product: Women's The Samhain Flannel

  • Job-site worker

Shows the tank on the job, sweat included, no staging.

Likely product: White Work Hard Badge Tank - Red

Left off, every time

Always left out: accounts with bought followers, creators who will not show the product on camera, anyone who wants to make claims off the sheet, and minors without a parent present. Apparel rule: nothing about fit, fabric or origin that the product page does not print.

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.

  • “Quality Flannels Built to Last.”

Opening or closing line on any flannel video

  • “Made in the USA”

Barber T-Shirt - Black videos only

  • “100% cotton”

Barber T-Shirt - Black fit check

  • “Slightly tapered fit”

  • “Machine wash cold with like colors”

Barber T-Shirt - Black care mention

  • “80% polyester / 17% cotton / 3% spandex”

6pk Premium Core Crew Socks - Black fabric mention

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • Every Dixxon piece is made in the USA

The origin line is printed on the Barber T-Shirt page only.

  • Free shipping on every order

The site ties free shipping to a spend threshold.

  • This sale price is permanent

Struck-through prices change; a creator cannot promise them.

  • The best flannel on the market

A comparison the page does not support.

  • It never shrinks or fades

Nothing on the pages read says this.

  • It fits every body type

Fit claims stay inside the size and fit lines on the page.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • Flannels are made in the USA

Not printed on the flannel pages read; ask the team before anyone says it.

  • Flannel washing instructions

Care lines read are for the Barber T-Shirt; confirm the flannel version.

Part 10 of 15

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

For creators with a small but real audience; a low cap keeps the first test cheap.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

For creators whose first videos beat the median, posting seven a week without slipping.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

For proven flannel and workwear voices; the top cap is earned only after the data says so.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One bonus per creator per month, never stacked.
  • The bonus is paid per video, only for the video that passes 100,000 views.
  • Only organic views count; paid views do not.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the apparel rules.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Part 11 of 15

Simulator

At ten creators and 303 videos a month, the simulator lands near 1.8M views and $5.74 per 1,000 views against the $1.00 target. Either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Two more creators join each week until ten are live. Five formats run, one variable per test, and the weakest hook is cut every Monday.

  3. Month 2

Formats far from the $1 target are dropped. Creators are moved between bands by data, not by follower count.

  4. Month 3

    Winners to paid

Organic winners past 100,000 views go through the organic-to-paid steps, with usage permission from each creator.

  5. Day 90

The roster grows by two creators a week, so hook performance can be read week over week instead of by anecdote.

Part 14 of 15

Organic to paid

From organic to paid

  1. Start organic

Every video is posted on the creator's own account first. Nothing is boosted before it has a result of its own.

  2. Spot the winners

A video past 100,000 views, or one far under the $1 target, is flagged in the Monday report.

  3. Get usage permission

The creator agrees in writing to paid use, with the disclosure kept in the first line.

  4. Test as an ad

The winner runs as an ad with one variable changed, and the original keeps running organically.

From the video to the checkout

  • Link to the product page of the item in the video, never a general page.
  • Use Shop All only for videos that show several items.
  • The site prints $50+ Free Shipping; say it only after checking the live terms.
  • Flannel pages carry a quantity limit of four per customer; do not promise more.
  • No retailer was found on the site read, so every link goes to dixxon.com.

Part 15 of 15

Apparel rules

Apparel rules for creators

Clothing claims are small, but they are specific. These six rules keep every Dixxon video inside what the product pages say.

  • Fit only from the page

Say True to size or Slightly tapered fit only for the Barber T-Shirt. For other items, describe how it fits you, and give your own height.

  • Fabric only from the page

Quote fabric content exactly as printed, like 100% cotton for the Barber T-Shirt. Never guess a blend from the feel of the cloth.

  • Origin needs a source

Made in the USA is printed on the Barber T-Shirt page. For any other product, leave origin out until the team confirms the line.

  • Price is live, not remembered

Check the live price before posting. Struck-through prices change, so no one says a price is permanent and no one invents a deadline.

  • Youth line, parent present

The Youth shirts and flannels are for kids. Any minor on camera has a parent present and in charge of the post.

  • Giveaways and collabs need a brief

The site runs a Polaris RZR Pro R giveaway and band collaborations. Creators do not mention or run them without a written brief.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
